Parking

Students, parents and/or guardians are required to park at the Brisbane St Public Carpark or in marked parking bay along Beaufort st, and walk / with their child to the SMV Beaufort St Campus. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before the class time, to allow time to park and walk to SMV.

  • The private bays in both the back and front car parks are strictly reserved for SMV staff only. Any vehicle parked in these bays without an SMV staff parking permit will be reported to the local authorities.


  • Parking is not permitted on the corner of Tiverton St and Beaufort St, as it creates a traffic hazard. Any cars parked in this area will be reported to the local authorities. Five witches’ hats will be placed in front of Beaufort St and at the corner of Tiverton St to ensure safety and proper traffic management.

  • Any vehicles double parked along Beaufort st, Tiverton St or in the staff car park will be reported to the local authorities.

Brisbane Street Car Park (4 min walk)

  • Ticket Parking 7am to Midnight Mon – Sun (first hour free) of $2.20 per hour to a maximum of $16.00 per day from 7am to 7pm

On street parking

  • Beaufort St, Tiverton St, Lindsay St and Brisbane St

  • Free parking on weekends, paid parking required up till

  • Note, clearways operate on Beaufort St from 7.30am to 9am and 4.15pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. During these times there is no stopping or parking allowed in clearway zones. If you park in a clearway you risk receiving an infringement and being towed.
