Dear Students and Parents of Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya,

Happy New Year to you all!
As you are all well aware, Term 1, 2014 is only 4 weeks away and we at SMV are busy preparing for the start of a new and exciting term.

Move to 263 Beaufort Street
In order to accommodate our growing school and the needs of our students, we will be moving all our classes to Beaufort Street from Term 1, 2014. Music, dance, theory and language classes will all relocate to Beaufort Street campus. The timings and days of all classes will remain the same just relocated to 263 Beaufort Street Perth.

Upcoming Events
Canning Arts Festival: The Temple of Fine Arts will be performing at the Canning Arts Festival on the 1st of February 2014.
Bharatha Natyam Arangetram: The Bharatha Natyam graduation of Suhasini Sutharshan will be held on the 8th of February 2014 at John Curtin Performing Arts Centre.

New Classes @ SMV
Sitar Classes: Sitar classes will be offered at SMV from Term 2, 2014. To register your interest and secure a spot for yourself, please send us an email toinfo@smv.org.au. We will contact you regarding class times and details once the timetable for Term 2 is fixed.
Tamil Classes: Learn how to speak and read Tamil with our new Tamil language classes.
Bala Vihar – Classes for children aged 4-6yrs teaching the basics in dance, movement and coordination. These classes are now free of charge and open to anyone interested.
New intakes for Bharatha Natyam, Odissi, Kathak, Vocal, Guitar, Tabla and Bollywood.
