Discover new ways of seeing and allow your creative vision to open new worlds. The world we live in, is fused and filled with colour, rhythms, sights, sounds and emotion. SMV visual arts classes are designed to provide sequential approaches to art, experimentation, and group practice, leading to in-house exhibitions and presentations.
Students will be introduced to a multi disciplinary approach in creating art. Music, rhythm and movement will be fused as learning tools to enhance the learning processes in the artistic rich environment of SMV. SMV visual arts courses will aid the adult and child learner in the incorporation of ideas, concepts, processes, and perceptions of their world.
Our visual artist-in-residence will instruct and prepare each student to actively participate and contribute to their own personal and creative growth. Occasional visiting intercultural visual artists (Aboriginal, Maori, etc) will be introduced to instruct students, to enrich their learning experience.
