Kathak Katha.....an exciting series of Kathak workshops conducted by Paramita Maitra, disciple of Padmavibushan Pandit Birju Maharaj.
Paramita will share her extensive training and knowledge in the Indian classical dance style of Kathak with the art-lovers of Perth.

Age and levels: The workshops will consist of classes for all different levels(beginner/intermediate/advance) and are open to all.

Kids - From 7 years - 14 years
Adults - From 15 years onwards.

What to wear?
All workshop attendees must attend in attire suitable for dancing: Kurti/Long comfortable top with long leggings.
SMV Students must attend in appropriate dancing attire and bring their Kathak bells to all workshops.
