Dance and movement for children with Down syndrome

Dance and Movement

Free dance classes

Dance and movement for children with Down syndrome can help develop coordination, strength and balance. The mind develops through the physical movement and the body develops through the mental desire to move.

Bharatanatyam, a popular traditional Indian form of dance, is characterised by rhythmic movements and facial expressions.
Bharatanatyam’s posture, rhythm and patterns help improve mental, physical, and emotional health.

These sessions will be fun-filled and are aimed at 6-12 year olds.

Venue: 263 Beaufort Street, Perth
